A Season of Success, Sunseed Flowers & Conservation

This season, our sunseed flower project has blossomed beautifully with the dedication of our farmers. Together, we have shown that when communities thrive, the forest thrives too.

Through this project, the Association for Conservation of Bugoma Forest provides seeds, training, and guidance on planting and harvesting. Later, we connect farmers to reliable markets where they sell their produce at fair prices. The result? Improved livelihoods, reduced dependence on charcoal and timber, and stronger protection for Bugoma Forest.

Every seed planted is more than a crop it’s a step toward sustainable living, community empowerment, and the safeguarding of one of Uganda’s great forests.
