Objectives

The objectives of Association for Conservation of Bugoma Forest are:

1. Organize activities, actions, events aimed at the sensitization of the general public and bringing positive changes for the conservation of Bugoma Central Forest Reserve, surrounding areas and buffer zones and communities, for purpose of conserving the forest and its biodiversity.
2. Organize and implement activities and projects directly benefiting Bugoma forest and the surrounding communities.
3. Organize fund-raising initiatives, campaigns and events to raise funds for the objectives of the association.
4. Lobby and advocate the relevant institutions in favor for a better protection and conservation of Bugoma forest.
5. Supports, promotes and develops eco-tourism activities in the Bugoma forest.
